We found ourselves traveling southbound to the Tar Heel State for the 2015 Beer Bloggers and Writers Conference this past month. We were certainly guaranteed access to the best beer that North Carolina had to offer, but the best food was something we had to seek out and uncover for ourselves.

Sierra Nevada: A Prost Post


Over a hundred beer bloggers’ jaws dropped as we rolled up to Sierra Nevada’s new production facility in Asheville, N.C. The size of the production facility alone left me speechless, let alone the 90 beautiful acres that enveloped it. Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see, learn, and experience in the next few hours while touring Sierra Nevada, Asheville.

Dogfish Head Inn


I jumped head first into the enticing, endless world of craft beers over a decade ago, and I have Dogfish Head brews to thank for it. I’ll never forget the moment when I tasted the bitter, robust flavor of their infamous 60 Minute IPA. It had me spellbound, completely smitten. Beer can taste like this? There are more beers like this?! Yep. I was a goner; hook, line and sinker. There was no turning back after that. And it turns out that my curiosity only grew the further I looked into this hop-forward world of fermented beverages…
